What is the National Learning Directory?
It’s the government's central learning database. It contains approximately one million courses from more than 10,000 providers in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.
The data on the National Learning Directory isn't just used by the Careers Advice Service website; it's used on many other websites such as Directgov, the BBC, Channel 4 and Hotcourses.
You only need to update your information on the National Learning Directory and it will be updated on all these other portals.
There are over 20 million searches of the National Learning Directory on the Careers Advice Service website alone, and countless more millions on the other websites on which it appears.
How do I add or amend my course information?
It's easy! Using the Advice Resources Course Manager you can add, update or delete your course information.
